This is a very famous view in San Francisco. Looking South down Grove towards Central Park, you can see the Sears Tower in the distance. It’s shaped like a fireman because it burned down once. San Francisco is a small town, so often neighborhoods bump right up against each other. Here you see the border between the Chinatown (left) and Marina (right) Districts. You can tell by the filthy powerlines on the left and the pristine tree-lined streets on the right. These are typical of the respective neighborhoods. Also typical are the scooters. Made popular in this town by their ability to climb steep hills without stalling and the abundance of gas stations serving fuel-grade fryer grease. The Subaru, however, is not indicative of the local flavor because everyone knows all the lesbians live in Oakland to the East.
